Step 1

Lie flat on your back with your legs abducted and knees bent, so that your soles are touching (in this position, your legs should resemble a frog’s legs or a diamond). Bring your feet as close to your bum as your flexibility allows.
Bring your arms above your head and cross your hands like shown.

Step 2

Exhale and squeeze your abs as you raise your upper back off the floor.

Step 3

Hold the contracted position for a second, then slowly return to the starting position.
Repeat for the recommended number of repetitions.
